The award recognizes the bank\u2019s <strong>\u201cReinventing Customer Onboarding\u201d<\/strong> initiative, which aims to make account opening and access to banking services simpler, easier, and more efficient for customers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Infosys Finacle Innovation Awards recognize banks and financial institutions that demonstrate outstanding work in technology and innovation. More than <strong>500 entries<\/strong> were submitted from around the world for the 2026 awards, with Machhapuchchhre Bank securing the Platinum Award in its category.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The bank also received an international award for its risk management practices. At the <strong>Fourth Emerging Asia Banking Conclave and Awards 2026<\/strong>, organized by the <strong>Indian Chamber of Commerce<\/strong> in New Delhi, the bank was recognized in the <strong>\u201cBest Performance on Risk Management\u201d<\/strong> category.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to the bank, the award was presented in recognition of its approach to managing <strong>credit, operational, market, and liquidity risks<\/strong>, as well as its focus on safe and responsible banking practices.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The two awards highlight the bank\u2019s growing focus on digital transformation and risk management. In recent years, Machhapuchchhre Bank has expanded its use of technology in digital banking, customer experience, and risk management.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The bank has previously received several international and regional recognitions. According to the bank, it won a <strong>Gold Award<\/strong> at the Infosys Finacle Innovation Awards in 2023, followed by the <strong>\u201cExcellence in POS Acquiring Business\u201d<\/strong> award at the Visa Leadership Conclave in 2024.
