Banking Khabar/ Both deposits and loan investments in banks and financial institutions have seen an increase. According to the latest data from Nepal Rastra Bank, deposits and loans in banks and financial institutions rose on Bhadra 11 (August 27). Compared to the previous day, deposits grew by NPR 5 billion on Bhadra 11, bringing the total deposits in banks and financial institutions to NPR 6.453 trillion.
Similarly, total loan investments also increased by NPR 5 billion on the same day, reaching NPR 5.188 trillion. The total loan investment stood at NPR 5.183 trillion the day before. On Bhadra 11, the average Credit-to-Deposit (CD) ratio of banks and financial institutions rose to 79.04%, up from 78.99% on the previous day. The interbank interest rate among banks remains at 3%.
