Dr. Bhatta Clarifies: “I Haven’t Left the Country, I’ll Return Soon”
Kathmandu – Dr. Gunakar Bhatta, who recently tendered his resignation as Executive Director of Nepal Rastra Bank, has stated that he has not left the country permanently and will return soon. He clarified that his visit to the United States was solely to attend a program and assured that he would be back in Nepal shortly.
Dr. Bhatta, who had been a prominent name in discussions surrounding the appointment of the new NRB Governor, submitted his resignation from the central bank. However, the resignation has not yet been approved.
