Banking Khabar/ Nepal Rastra Bank has changed the format of the audit report to be prepared by banks. Issuing a circular, Nepal Rastra Bank has amended the Unified Directive. According to the new format, it has to be maintained from the preparation of the report of the last fiscal year. The audit report of FY 2081/82 now has to be prepared by banks in the new format. On issues of IT and cyber security risk, internal control system, monitoring report of Rastra Bank, and digital banking, opinions have to be added. Nepal Rastra Bank has mentioned in the amended Unified Directive that the auditor should also give opinions on risk management including credit risk, non-banking assets, ESRM, and the Risk Management Committee.
