Banking Khabar / Nepal is set to train enumerators for the upcoming Economic Census 2082 as part of efforts to update national economic data and better understand the structure and condition of economic activities across the country.
The National Statistics Office, in coordination with the Federation of Nepali Journalists, announced that the five-day training program will be launched simultaneously from 84 offices nationwide. The selection of enumerators has already been finalized, and coordination with local governments has been completed.
Following the training, enumerators will be deployed across the country to carry out the census, which is scheduled to begin on Baisakh 2, 2083. Nepal previously conducted its first national economic census in 2075 BS.
