Banking Khabar / The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has projected that Nepal’s economic growth rate will stand at just 2.7 percent for the current year, indicating a relatively slow pace of economic expansion. According to the ADB’s assessment, Nepal’s economy is expected to remain unstable in the coming years, with growth likely to experience fluctuations due to various internal and external economic factors. Despite this short-term slowdown, the bank remains cautiously optimistic about the near future, forecasting that Nepal’s economic growth could improve and reach around 5 percent in the next year.
The report further highlights that Nepal’s economic performance has remained subdued for an extended period of time, reflecting persistent structural challenges in achieving strong and sustained growth.
