Unilever Nepal Urges Shareholders to Claim Dividends Older Than Five Years

Banking Khabar / Unilever Nepal Limited has urged shareholders to collect dividends that are more than five years old.

In a public notice, the company said the unpaid dividends are from the fiscal year 2019/20, which were approved during its 27th Annual General Meeting. According to company records, many shareholders—or their legal heirs—have not yet claimed these dividends.

The company has asked eligible shareholders to collect the pending payments in line with investor protection regulations.

Shareholders who have not yet received their dividends are requested to visit the office of Laxmi Sunrise Capital within 30 days of the notice. They must bring their share certificate and a valid ID.

The company has also warned that if the dividends are not claimed within the given deadline, the unpaid amount will be transferred to the Investor Protection Fund as per the Company Act.
