Banking Khabar / Four shortlisted for Nepal Securities Board Chairperson Post The recommendation committee formed to appoint the chairperson of the Securities Board of Nepal has shortlisted four candidates from a pool of 47 applicants.
The candidates selected for the final round are:
- Dr. Navaraj Adhikari
- Binaydev Acharya
- Mukunda Kumar Kshetri
- Dr. Gopal Bhatta
Among the shortlisted candidates, Bhatta and Kshetri are former executive directors of Nepal Rastra Bank. Adhikari previously served as executive director at the securities board, while Acharya is currently serving as the board’s executive director.
The committee has invited all four candidates for separate discussions on May 22.
Following the discussions, the committee will recommend three names to the Cabinet, which will then appoint one candidate as the new chairperson of the Securities Board of Nepal.
