Jyoti Prakash Pandey Returns as Bank CEO Following Supreme Court Order

Banking Khabar / Following an order from the Supreme Court, Nepal Investment Mega Bank Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Jyoti Prakash Pandey has officially returned to the bank and resumed his duties.

The Supreme Court had issued an order on Jestha 1 directing his release. Soon after the ruling, the bank released an official statement confirming that CEO Pandey had taken charge of the bank once again.

In its statement, the bank said it has always remained fully committed to the rule of law and the independence of the judiciary while carrying out its responsibilities in accordance with directives issued by regulatory authorities. The bank also pledged to continue extending full cooperation to investigating agencies in the days ahead.

Emphasizing its commitment to stakeholders, the bank stated that all of its operations and decisions conducted under prevailing laws have consistently prioritized the interests of depositors, investors, shareholders, and all concerned parties.

The bank further noted that the latest court order has provided renewed energy, confidence, and encouragement to work even more firmly in the interest of all stakeholders moving forward.
