Banking Khabar / Phonepay has partnered with online shopping platform Jeevee to integrate its ‘Checkout by Phonepay’ payment service, making online shopping faster, simpler and more convenient for customers.
With the new integration, customers shopping on Jeevee can select the ‘Checkout by Phonepay’ option at the payment stage and complete their purchases directly through any mobile banking app connected to Phonepay. The service is expected to simplify the checkout process by reducing the steps required to complete an online payment.
To mark the service expansion, Phonepay and Jeevee have also introduced a special cashback offer for customers. Under the offer, customers paying through ‘Checkout by Phonepay’ can receive up to 20% cashback, with the cashback capped at Rs. 500.
According to the companies, the offer is valid from August 18 to August 31. During the campaign period, each customer can receive cashback of up to Rs. 500.Phonepay said the partnership with Jeevee is part of its broader efforts to expand access to and adoption of digital payments in Nepal. The company aims to make online transactions faster, safer and more convenient through new payment technologies and solutions.
Phonepay has been expanding its digital payment network by connecting with merchants, financial institutions and e-commerce platforms. Through services such as ‘Checkout by Phonepay’, the company aims to simplify online payments and encourage wider adoption of digital payment services.
With the service now available on Jeevee, customers can complete their online purchases directly through their linked mobile banking apps without having to go through a complicated or separate payment process.
Phonepay said it plans to expand its services to more commercial and e-commerce platforms, further strengthening Nepal’s digital payment ecosystem.
