Capital Market Expo has been held for the first time in Nepal. The Expo, Organized by Securities Board of Nepal and Event managed by Media International, was inaugurated by Dr. Yubaraj Khatiwada, Minister of Finance. Dr. Rewat Bahadur Karki, Chair person of Securities Board of Nepal was the chief at the inauguration program. Dr. Chiranjibi Nepal, Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank; Chiranjibi Chapagain, Chair person of Insurance Board; Chandra Singh Saud, CEO of Nepal Stock Exchange; Dev Prakash Gupta, CEO of CDS and Clearing limited; Priya Raj Regmi, Chair person of Nepal Broker Association; Dhruba Timalsina, Chair person of Nepal Merchant Bankers Association and Many other Persons related to stock market were presented as guest in the Expo.
In the two days Expo, around 125 stalls were established including Securities Board of Nepal, Insurance Board, and Citizen Investment Fund, Nepal Stock Exchange, Banks, Insurance Companies, Stock Brokers and other ASBA Member companies. In the Expo, interaction program about different topics related to capital market were organized in 4 sessions. Experts of the related topic had presented their worksheet in each session. Commentators also were the experts.
Huge number of observers observed the stalls and participated in the interaction program. Specially, the management students, youths and entrepreneurs were presented there. They were excited to get all the informations about capital market beneath a single roof. Most of the participants told to organize such programs out of the valley as well.
