Banking Khabar/ In the last financial year 2080/81, more than 1 lakh have taken subsidized loans. According to the data of the Central Bank, 1 lakh 20 thousand 274 borrowers received subsidized loans at the end of Ashadh last year.
1 kharba 26 arba 82 crores of loans that flowed through banks and financial institutions under the interest subsidy of the Government of Nepal are in arrears. Out of this, 46 thousand 356 borrowers under agriculture and livestock business loans have 86 arba 90 crore outstanding loans.
Similarly, data from the Central Bank shows that there are 38 arba 29 crore loans that have been given to 71 thousand 883 women entrepreneurs under women entrepreneurial loans. Under other subsidized loans, 2 thousand 35 borrowers have outstanding loans of 1 arba 63 crore.
