Subisu Partners with APAC IPv6 Council to Boost Nepal’s Digital Future

Banking Khabar / Subisu Limited, a leading internet and digital services provider in Nepal, has officially entered into a strategic partnership with the APAC IPv6 Council, marking a major step forward in the nation’s technological evolution. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed during the 4th APAC IPv6 Council Meet held at Hotel Radisson.

This collaboration represents a pivotal milestone in Nepal’s transition toward next-generation internet infrastructure. As the global supply of IPv4 addresses, limited to approximately 4.3 billion, has been exhausted due to the rapid growth of connected devices, the adoption of IPv6 offers a scalable solution with virtually unlimited address capacity. This advancement will enable seamless and secure connectivity for everything from personal devices to industrial and agricultural technologies across the country.

Through this partnership, Subisu Limited is set to lead Nepal’s shift toward IPv6, reducing reliance on legacy systems and enabling a more efficient, peer-to-peer internet ecosystem.

Speaking on the occasion, CEO Binay Mohan Saud highlighted the broader significance of the agreement, stating that hosting an international technology forum of this scale and formalizing collaboration with the APAC IPv6 Council reflects Nepal’s growing role in the regional tech landscape. He emphasized that the partnership will help position Nepal as a hub for technological dialogue in the Asia-Pacific region while strengthening connections between local and global tech communities.

The agreement was formally signed by Binay Mohan Saud on behalf of Subisu Limited and Sureswaran Ramdas, Professor Emeritus and representative of the APAC IPv6 Council. The signing ceremony was attended by prominent industry leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders, underscoring the importance of this initiative within the framework of Nepal’s national digital transformation goals.

The event concluded with a strong message: Nepal is prepared to embrace the future of digital connectivity. With leadership from organizations like Subisu Limited and contributions from industry advocates such as Chiranjibi Adhikari of One Cover Private Limited, the country is steadily advancing toward a secure, scalable, and globally integrated digital ecosystem.
