Banking Khabar / The application process for the post of Chairperson of the Nepal Insurance Authority has officially opened. Through a public notice, the Ministry of Finance has invited eligible and interested Nepali citizens to apply for the prestigious position.
According to the notice, applicants must submit their personal details to the committee secretariat under the Financial Sector Management and Corporation Coordination Division of the Ministry of Finance within office hours by June 1 (Jestha 19) for recommendation in the appointment process of the new chairperson.
Candidates seeking the top regulatory role in Nepal’s insurance sector must possess at least a master’s degree in Insurance, Monetary and Banking, Commerce, Engineering, Management, Public Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or Law. Applicants are also required to have a minimum of five years of managerial-level experience in the related field.
Furthermore, applicants must be morally sound Nepali citizens who are at least 30 years old and not above 65 years of age.
