Nepal Micro Insurance general meeting postponed

Banking Khabar / Nepal Micro Insurance Company Limited has postponed its Annual General Meeting (AGM).

The company had scheduled its AGM for April 22 (Baisakh 10), but a board meeting held on April 17 (Baisakh 4) decided to defer the event, stating it could not be conducted on the planned date. The third AGM has been postponed until further notice.

The meeting agenda included discussion and approval of the annual report for fiscal year 2024/25 (2081/82), along with the auditor’s report and the company’s financial statements, including the balance sheet, profit and loss account, cash flow statement, and related schedules.

Additionally, the AGM was set to appoint an external auditor for the current fiscal year 2025/26 (2082/83) and determine their remuneration. It also aimed to approve the company’s expenditures under corporate social responsibility (CSR).

The company had closed its books on April 8 (Chaitra 26) for AGM purposes.
